I think you need go back and read what they were missing. That wasn't "depth" as you keeping alluding to. 4 of their top 7 lineman.

They werent 35th, they were 58th.
Losing to the 58th best team in the country, that hasnt really practiced in 3 weeks at home, missing over close to 40% of their roster, including most of their offensive line is a horrible loss.
