As great as alcohol is, I think it would be best if we continue those conversations in the appropriate thread(s), one of which is in the Big Red Lounge. I'll slap myself on the hand too because I believe I contributed to it here. But, time to steer this thread back on course a little bit.

This is the nature of this thread, though. I started trying to mark down who's been nominated and by page 200 (circa 2013) it became really difficult to sift past all the conversations that had nothing to do with nominations. 

It's admirable that you want this thread to stay "on track," but it's never really done that. It's the original tangent thread.

A tangent that's gone on for about nine pages and has its own thread elsewhere :) . Historically speaking, this thread also has countless example of people dogging on others for going off on tangents for too long or going too off track.

I know I'm not the only one tired of seeing this thread bumped for just another s#!tpost about what kind of garbage beer some of you dingbats drink.

Pretty sure anybody who has been around as long as we have has been nominated more than once.

I don't disagree, and if you want it to get back on track I'm on board. I'm just saying it's a futile effort.

Pretty much. Most nominations I would consider not serious. People just nominating others for things like taking this thread off topic (such nominations are not infrequent). 

You've been nominated twice, once semi-serious & once jokingly.

On November 12, 2011 HuskerThor nominated you, walksalone, PaulCrewe & ShawnWatson for ripping on the HuskerPedia refugees. I kinda think that was semi-serious because Thor was getting tired of just being lumped into the bucket of 'Pedia guys when he's his own individual guy. I also got the impression you were mostly pulling legs with your part of it. 

Your other nomination was from GSG on May 3, 2012. His was in retaliation for your nomination of him after he suggested bringing back negative rep, which you said was a bad idea. He nominated you for nominating him. Hilarity ensued.

I had totally forgotten about the HuskerPedia stuff.  :D  I also don't remember being that triggered about it but there must have been some real dousche canoes popping over at that time, including one that I apparently considered a real "negative son of a b!^@h."

By the way - Enhance posited that most of us who have been here for years have been nominated. Oddly, through 2014 when the thread got really tangenty and I stopped, you had yet to be nominated as a DB. 

You had made two nominations - one against RedPhoenix in September, 2013 and one against dutch91701 in October, 2013.

I remember I went through a period of being a real d-hole to some people I disagreed with around here... some time in the 2009-2010 time frame. I was intentionally snarky and tried to be indirectly abusive without going into full personal attack mode. I gave @fro daddy a real hell of a time back then. I'm surprised I didn't get any warnings.

And then, ironically, fro ended up becoming one of my favorite posters here. We even played Call of Duty a few times together in those years.
