Because gods are human creations, stories like The Lord of the Rings. Or orcs or ents or dwarves.

In the same way that I know unicorns aren't real, I know gods aren't real.

Humans invented gods to explain the unexplained. Early humans couldn't explain earthquakes, so they became the act of some god. Same with lightning, or planets in the night sky. Every civilization invented gods. The Judeo-Christian god is no different.

Again, how do you actually know there is no God?  Or do you just believe this?
