Was going to ask why we are offering juco DL at this point, but he's a 4 for 4 so that makes more sense. Always loved Kyle Vanden Bosch so I dig the name too.

Yeah, I see that now.  He was originally Class of 2020 but only had walk-on and small-school offers because he played in the smallest class in Georgia.  So he "bet on himself" and went to IWCC.  Since he was a full qualifier he can leave IWCC and be immediately eligible.  And since last year (this spring for IWCC) doesn't count against eligibility, he would still be a true freshman, eligibility-wise.

So he's definitely not the usual JUCO.

 
Word is we told him he'd have to walk-on for the fall semester and be on scholarship in January.  Iowa offered a full scholarship right away.
