NBA Arguments Tangent Thread

LeBron seems like a really, really good person. And he's a fantastic basketball player, no worse than 2nd best all-time. But.... He's a douchebag. His on-court behavior might be more annoying than his off-court behavior. And I really question how much thought he puts into these, supposed, social grievances. Most annoyingly, he purposefully ignores real injustice happening in China because, well, Dolla Dolla Bill Y'all....

Not only wouldn't talk about China but was critical of those who were.

Nobody is arguing that KD is better than Jordan. It's that the Durant/Curry/Klay Warrior teams would of beat Jordan's Bulls. Or at least been much better than anyone the Bulls beat. I mean, they were one shot from going to 7 games against a Jazz team that would of been in the play-in rounds of the Western Conference if they played today.

You mean...the Jazz team with two top 50 players of all time?

Even on this new list, Malone is in front of KD.

Again, if anyone can do the matchups and show me where they favor GS, I will give in and admit the Bulls would lose to them.  But you would have a better chance convincing me that "Kung Flu" is not funny!

I mean, KD is on the brink of elimination...

Bythe Bucks

Then he will join Wilt Chamberlin, Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and Larry Bird as players who didn't win every post-season series of their careers.

That's also the wrong criteria for someone selling the incontrovertible awesomeness of Stockton & Malone.

Just now, Guy Chamberlin said:

fwiw.....John Stockton might well be under-rated at #50.  He's got a lot of NBA vets in his corner, including Gary Payton.

Never as the better seed and favorite!

Well the Nets are down two of their three superstars, KD won Game 5 almost single-handedly, the Bucks were only two games behind them in the regular season, and the series isn't actually over.

Again, many veteran NBA analysts who played against the players you're citing have no trouble calling KD the most dangerous and unguardable player in NBA history. Not a slight to Jordan, just that KD is 6 foot 11 and can hit from anywhere on the floor.

The most unguardable player in NBA history doesn't average 28 points a game?

That is 7 points per quarter.  For the most unguardable player in the history of the game.

There are two other guys that averaged over 28 for their career.  Hmmm
