The most unguardable player in NBA history doesn't average 28 points a game?
That is 7 points per quarter. For the most unguardable player in the history of the game.
There are two other guys that averaged over 28 for their career. Hmmm
Well it's about five points less a game than the legends you keep citing, but on teams with two other All NBA players who average 20+ themselves.
Bob McAdoo, Geroge Gervin, and Alex English put up crazy numbers, but they're not in the conversation either.
You keep acting like I'm making this up. Kevin Durant's unprecedented skillset isn't a maverick theory by Warriors fans, who are actually inclined to root against him right now. I am. But the real test is when Durant is forced to play without his supporting superstars, and a very physical and defensive minded Bucks team is free to double team him, and Durant plays all 48 minutes, puts up 49 points, 17 rebounds and 11 assists, and pretty much wills his team to a win.
It's also why the Bucks coach might get fired if they lose to the Nets today.
