Not sure how long Childress will stick around, but he will be a huge help to young coaches like Bolt and Christy. 
Insanely good hire. I agree on Childress maybe having a quick stay in Lincoln. He’s trying to help coaches he loves in a place he loves. He will most likely have offers to be the head man at good programs in 12 months. We will gladly take him in the meantime.

Completely agree. It’s a win for all parties. Bolt continues to learn how to improve a college program, and Childress gets to have a “fun year” working with coaches and a college he still has a lot of fondness. 

 
I wonder if they are able to keep Evan Helman who was the former Director of Player Development.  Helman got promoted into the role last year after serving as an intern and is pretty integral in the sports science side of things.
