Yeah, I mean, one side is pretty annoying and stupid and the other lives in an alternative reality who's policies have killed thousands of Americans. 

But yeah, "perspectives" matter and such. Hey, yo, while I have you in the phone how many Americans would've lived if Trump publicly wore a mask or didn't take the advice of Dr. Atlas? Were at 600k+ deaths, I'm guessing we could have half that is they were competent. 

Just wanted you to keep it in perspective for me.

I think Dr. Strangelove had a pretty good take.

I'm keenly aware of how smug, self-righteous and hypocritical liberals can be, and how easily blind Trump hatred could get them to spread un-vetted misinformation. 

But when the smoke clears, the size of the dicks aren't equal. 

If you voted for Donald Trump, you supported willful ignorance, needless hatred, and some really dangerous precedents that by any sane account leave Benghazi and Obamacare in the dust. 

I'm not sure where my metaphor is going -- whether the huge d!(k or tiny d!(k is declared the winner -- but I'm tired of pretending the two sides are equal just because they're dicks.

I understand the sentiment, but there's a giant hole in this notion.  Again, it depends where the measurements take place.  Here, on HuskerBoard, where Conservatives generally get stereotypes into loony bin escapee territory, sure.  The silence when the chips fall after a dog pile, yeah the throbbing boner session is glorious.  In another arena where well spoken and intelligent Trump voters (yes they actually do exist) outnumber the Biden voter I've found the Boner party is had by the other camp, but the discussions aren't nearly as violent.

I say this as someone who votes non-partisan, just my observations as someone disgusted by political tribalism.

@Redux what say you? Heck, give me your honest guess at the number of lives lost. I'm personally thinking 250k lives, but who knows!

Hell, I'm feeling generous. I'll even give you the opportunity to set the record straight. Tell me how many people died as a result of vaccine and mask politicization by the GOP and we can compare that to the number killed by policies put fourth by Democrats.

Oh, let's not forget to be modest here. We can talk about when Republican governors sued the federal government so they wouldn't get free money for Healthcare. (Remember?? Hilarious!) I'm sure that lead to at least a handful of deaths... 2? No wait 3! hmm, wait... more than 3.... I'll leave the data up to @Redux @Archy1221 and others to figure out. My liberal brain gets sad when I think about it.

Give you an honest guess on the numbers you're assuming?  That's not a possible task.

You seem to be confusing assumption and projection as data and facts.  There is no way of knowing any of the things you're yelling about, we can only assume the numbers of extra cases from people's negligence.

And are you honestly going to say with a straight face that the GOP were/are the only one's POLITICIZING MASKS AND VACCINATIONS?   :lol:

And as far as Republican Governors suing anyone, it's always political propaganda bulls#!t.  I'm sure the Lefties wouldn't do that though right?
