No true dline guys? Bold move if so.Word is the number they are looking at in this class is 13.
So probably 1 more OL and 3 DBs.
The D line is probably the deepest position on the team and a lot of those are freshmen, RS freshmen and sophomores. No true dline guys? Bold move if so.

Yeah, still not use to this COVID roster where Hutmacher, Black, Robinson, Newsom all have 4-5 left in the program if they wish.Yeah, pretty much what @BigRedBuster said. There are currently 7 "freshman" DLs on the roster. Plus two sophomores. And probably most of the true freshman will redshirt this year.
We're likely going to finish the class without a single 4* player.Left w/o offer.
Side note:
This class is pretty bad. 2023 cycle can’t come soon enough. Need to win..now.
Yes.Is it possible that since Covid the ratings are a little off of what they should be since HS players couldn't play a full year and or get to camps to improve their ratings on recruiting sites. Diamonds in the rough
It is possible. It is also likely. And, the vast majority of those won't find a home at an FBS program. Most university budgets are going to be able to keep every scholarship player that received a free eligibility year from last season. The transfer portal will be overflowed for the next few seasons until it’s all flushed through.
You’re correct because most FBS programs will be in the same situation. It was great they received a year back, but it may not be where they want it to be when they are juniors or seniorsAnd, the vast majority of those won't find a home at an FBS program.
I actually think you will see a lot of guys not taking their extra year of eligibility over the next 3-4 years. If they are deep on the depth chart, a lot will hang it up and get on with their lives. You’re correct because most FBS programs will be in the same situation. Many will have to no matter what because there isn’t going to be room for all the transfers at the lower levels eitherI actually think you will see a lot of guys not taking their extra year of eligibility over the next 3-4 years.
