** 2021 Opponent Previews : Ohio State (Game 9) **

This reinforces something I said when our sell out streak was in jeopardy.

it’s not just because our team has struggled.

There are a lot of people who just don’t feel comfortable with big crowds.

Bottom line: Ohio State is not physical against the run this year. That is currently their biggest problem IMO.

There were glimpses of this in their game against Minnesota and then Oregon embarrassed them with excellent edge blocking on outside zone runs on Saturday.

Why can't their weakness ever be one we're equipped to take advantage of? Last year it was their pass defense IIRC, and we had nobody to catch the ball.

Very true. That doesn't seem to help us at all. With the exception of the rare option play, NU doesn't seem interested in running outside very much  this season. The high majority of our run plays are inside zone.  While we are committed to running inside and not much running play action off these numerous inside runs, we dont seem to do that particularly well either.
