I didn’t want Mav accusing me of copying his picks :lol:   And I wanted to take the Huskers while they were still giving points (because I’m stupid). Probably be close to a pick ‘em by game day.

The Rail is still around . That was THE place when I was in school. Haven’t been there in a looong time. The only bar I’ve been to in the last ten years is Longwells at the Railyard. Have fun.

BTW, I hit a 13 team CFB parlay yesterday. A lot of them were heavy favorites on the money line but a few were with point spreads. Don’t worry, I only put $2 on it at +1222. Only $26 payout, but still hit all 13. I couldn’t believe it. I haven’t been able to pick even 3 to save my a$$ lately.

Funny story about the rail...I taught the kid of the owner.  So when I hit up the rail when I go to Lincoln we always joke about it.

My brother (7 years older than me) bartended at The Brass Rail in the 70’s when he was at UNL.  I don’t recall when they changed the name. I think it was still the Brass Rail when I was there in the early 80’s.
