WHY do we continue to call these screens year after year? They never work

Maybe we owe Danny Langsdorf some money and instead of paying it said "we'll call your stupid screen play 2-3 times a game if you'll cut us a break on some $$ we owe."

I swear Frost has called that play about 100 times during his tenure and it's resulted in 5+ yards about twice

Good luck convincing Scott Frost that. Hopefully the next OC will either dramatically reduce the use quick split-screens and swing-screens OR will at least scheme them up better, because as you said they have hardly ever worked while Frost has been HC.

That is why I hope no Helfrich. Just get that entire Oregon/UCF scheme out of here

I would much rather see them run a triple-option concept then continue to try and use those screens.
