No he didn’t. 

Alright and Aight are both shortened forms of the same phrase: “all right.” One came into use more recently than the other. 

Language isn’t static, and there isn’t some set time where all changes/additions thereafter are wrong.

And yeah, I'm pretty goddamn pissed off about an unaccontable, unelected group of out-of-touch dinosaurs and religious extremists arbitrarily ripping rights away from people in this country as a tool to ensure minority rule. I'm a little less concerned about how I am perceived than the millions of people who woke up with fewer liberties than yesterday, and the millions more who worry they're next on the chopping block in our quest to cultivate the ideal right-wing theocratic a$$h@!es' utopia.
