***The 2022 Offensive Line***

PFF grades from the 5 that got the most snaps vs Rutgers

Corcoran 27.2

Piper 49.6
Hixson 54.9

Bando 47.3
Anthony 47.8

For reference:

90-100 Elite

85-89 All-Conference

70-84 Starter

60-69 Backup

0-59 Replaceable
This OL in a nutshell. Replaceable.

And if Benhart’s PFF grade were included it would lower the average even further. Being this bad is more of an anomaly than being extremely good. Obviously development has been s#!t but what’s to blame more? Coaching/technique, S&C, recruiting?

He only played 7 snaps and graded at 62.4
I meant it more as a general statement, not his specific grade in this one game. But the fact he graded better than the others yet played so poorly he got pulled, speaks volumes about this OL. They’re just bad and apparently no one behind them. I’d like to place some blame on Whipple’s play calling but I have to wonder what he could call that they would block any better.

It's been 5 years.  Don't put this on me.

I prefer technicians and some nastiness...
