Playing things extremely close to the vest.  Not mentioning any schools in particular.  Won't talk about any planned visits.

Sounds like offers from Ohio State, USC, UCLA and others may be on the way.

TE CARTER NELSON (2024)
Good luck finding a more athletic tight end in the 2024 cycle. A two-time state champion in the high jump, Carter Nelson owns a personal-best 7-foot effort in the event. He’s also gone 11.05 in the 100-meter dash and qualified for states in the pole vault as a sophomore. Not bad for someone that’s listed at 6-foot-4, 205 pounds.

On the hardwood, Nelson has averaged 14.4 points per game, 8.2 rebounds per game and an eye-popping 3.5 blocks per game in three seasons at the varsity level. Sure, he might play eight-man football in the Cornhusker State, but plenty of players have made the transition to the 11-man game in the past and found success (like Leighton Vander Esch and Tarik Cohen, for example). Matt Rhule – who is all about traits – has firmly Nebraska in the mix to land Nelson, who has also been linked to Notre Dame, Iowa State and plenty of others.
