CU sold out their tickets not the stadium

Denver Post article says "

The CU Buffs, coming off a humbling 1-11 mark last fall, have sold out Folsom Field for fans to watch … practice.".  but the stadium only holds just over 50k so Nebraska is already ahead and not sold out.

I think CU is selling 40K and that is it.

But that is still amazing, they normally don't get anyone.

I had read they put up 50k tickets but that wasn't full capacity but I could absolutely be wrong on that

looks like at one point their capacity was 53,613 but they removed some seating so now its 50,183.  So I guess if they say they only sold 50K its not full capacity.  don't know why they wouldn't sell the other 183 seats.   :dunno

Either way, it is a big deal for them.  Clearly the hire, so far, has worked for CU.

I think that 75K is all dependent on the weather.

No rain, temps in the mid 60's or higher...and we hit 75K for the spring game.
