This was not reported as a rumor or news. It was just an idea by a blogger that they interviewed earlier in the show. He said that he "would not be surprised" if T.O. came out of retirement for one year.

That makes no sense at all. Think about it. If Osborne coaches for 1 year, who'd be the athletic director? What would happen to recruiting? Who would the assistants be? It's all bullcrap. The coach next year will be none other than Bill Callahan with some new guys with him. Osborne doesn't want to start from scratch and rebuild all over again. Keep BC, dump the assistants who are losers and go from there.

i am sure this has been posted before, but check the interview with osborne at about the 4:00 minute mark of the interview. i think this was from around 1999. never say never!
