Seriously? Sims isn't on the list? I would put him at #1.
https://247sports.com/college/nebraska/article/running-back-rahmir-johnson-among-the-most-indispensable-huskers-211315160/ Rahmir Johnson comes in at number 23. I don't agree with this at, sorry not a big fan of him.
Yeah I get that he works hard and the coaches love that but Grant I would say is a better running back. I know he was in the dog house before the spring bc he wasn't on the team but now that he is back on I still believe Grant being the lead returning running back should be on the list. I don't get why the local media has some type of fascination with him. Doesn't have the size be a lead back in the big 10. Yes you can put him in different spots on the offense but if he didn't play this season I don't think the offense would be so called hurting if he didn't have a lead role on the offense.I think Rahmir is a lot better than most give him credit for.
It is interesting that he's above Grant on their list, though.
I thought he was perfect for the wingback type player they were claiming to make him into. Problem is, the staff last year never really used him in that roll.Yeah I get that he works hard and the coaches love that but Grant I would say is a better running back. Johnson is no way either of those names you mentioned. But if you want to use his size to compare if to those names good Im just talking about a starting caliber big 10 back.Johnson 5'10" 185lbs
Wandale Robinson 5'10" 185lbs (good, and used wrong)
Ameer 5'9" 195lbs

Yup. While those that have shown promise have issues (Bell and Washington) or injuries and issues (Allen) and left the team.Every running back since Abdullah has been the very definition of dispensable/replaceable.
