This wouldn't be bad.
I would think Virginia in over one of the Florida schools….or ditch Rutgers. This wouldn't be bad.
McClintock mentions an "end game." I really don't think there is one outside of just money. It's growing a business, and business is currently really good.
This is so true. Entertainment is evolving quickly. I think interest to watch will remain for a long time but how people access it will likely change in the near future. The end game is when the TV contracts go bust.
My vote would be "away" - let them be happy in D3 or NAIA.if the ACC dies as well where does notre dame go?
While, I think the B1G would be better with them and they are a good fit, I still don't see that happening unless the conference gives them some special deal...which I am 1000% against.if the ACC dies as well where does notre dame go?
I would love to tell them where to go….but having a team that everyone loves to hate might be fun.if the ACC dies as well where does notre dame go?
24 teams in a conference that sounds crazy to me.This wouldn't be bad.
I think everyone might need to rethink what they envision as a "conference". If we get to 24 teams (the tweet was just a hypothetical idea), we would sort of be our own league. Then, the SEC would be it's own league. You wouldn't obviously play everyone. Heck, we don't now. But, we would be battling for the league championship and then in the end, the top teams would then go against the top teams in the SEC for the NCAA championship.24 teams in a conference that sounds crazy to me.
