*** Official Minnesota Game Thread ***

I get y’all are traumatized by the last decade, but holy moly. Better (I didn’t say good, yet) things coming. Too much new and on the road. It will settle down.

Total yards are within a point of each other. NU is averaging 4.6 yds/pass

Minn is averaging 4.8 yds/pass

NO TE receptions by NU in the first half.

Not enough rushing yards by guys not named Sims.

No penalties on Minn?!?

NU down two turnovers but only down 3 on the scoreboard. The game is very much winnable. But we need to see what Rhules halftime adjustments look like.
We ran like 20 plays in the first half?

Poor clock management with 2 TOs there near the end.  I'm not sure why they didn't promise Casey Thompson the starting job.  Sims can't pass, but you can teach Thompson to run more.
Rhule had to call the first timeout because the play clock was running down. That’s on the players, not the coaches.

The first half went better than I expected. The defense looked good and we were able to move the ball a bit on offense. To only be down 3 is surprising.

Good overview-but you forgot the commercial count.
