This kid played very well considering it's his first start.

You can never string together an association by beating a team, that beat a team, etc. But NIU of course beat BC.  BC nearly shocked FSU today and I truly think FSU makes the playoff this year.  What it does remind us is these are kids and each week brings new expectations and perspectives.  I think today we saw a commitment to run the ball, a defense that swarms to the play, toughness, and the kids looked like they were having fun (winning does that, but I have not seen much energy the last few years).
