Benhart is definitely improved.  In fact, if you replace the other tackle with a guy that is playing like Behart is right now, I think we would be talking very different about the line.  Has Benhart been perfect?  No.  But, he's been way better than he was last year....in my opinion.

I think the other thing is our offensive coordinator getting a sense of when the other team is consistently breathing down our neck with heavy blitzes on early downs and not calling drop-back passes on those downs. Just don't put the line in that situation more than you have to where they have to pass protect on slow-developing pass plays.

I hope that against Illinois we'll run outside early in the game and just see what happens.

I was going to post something similar. If we had a decent LT and backup for him they could move TC back to the interior where he belongs and we'd have at least a serviceable OL across the front 5. Losing Rouse to OU was a massive loss that can't be underestimated IMHO.
