I thought Maryland was better than this. 

I'm surprised. It's a ten-point Northwestern lead with a minute to go in the half. Northwestern had 257 yards of total offense and nine points in the game last week. They have 237 yards of offense and 24 points in the first half. 

Look at who Maryland played to get off to that 5-0 start. Nobody.  They are no better than anyone else we have left.  Looks to me like we’ll be able to run at will on them.

Everyone is still optimistic, but cautiously pessimistic.  At Purdue, we'd be a dog in todays match up.  NU needs to start fast.  Leave no doubt.  Physically beat their a$$'s senseless.

I do not want to get ahead of myself but the BIG West is really wide open as all teams are equally bad. Honestly, we have a very good defense and if our offense was semi decent, we could actually be on top of this weak division. Northwestern beat Maryland which means that Maryland is not as good as their record may indicate. Today will be telling. If our offense can actually put together a few good drives, there is still hope for this season.
