2023 College Football Playoff

Alabama has no business being in the playoffs and Texas is also questionable. I hate including two teams from the same conference, but that precedence has already been set before. tOSU is probably the most legit one loss team out there and they deserve to be in over UT and Bama. If you're not going to put tOSU in the. It should be FSU and Texas. FSU even with injuries has done everything they needed to earn a spot and is obviously undefeated. Texas already has the head-to-head over Bama.

The committee got it wrong by replacing FSU with Alabama.  I feel terrible for the Seminoles.   :(

Meanwhile (as expected) the biggest advocate for SEC football said the committee got it right, per Paul Finebaum.

His response to FSU being snubbed was pathetic and illogical.

Per Paul Finebaum "FSU and their fans can go enjoy a nice bowl and everybody will be happy with that.  And if this was next year, they would be in the playoffs"

That's not an argument.  I hate the SEC bias and snobbish retorts.

1. Wash

2. Mich

3. Tex

4. FSU

That's exactly how it should have been.  Period.

It’s like people don’t understand math.

8 teams. Two 4 team brackets.

And it’s enough that there shouldn’t be any serious arguments about who gets in.

People make this so hard.

:yeah

Eight has been my preference for years.  And it's about as clean as you can get this year.  Five conference champions plus the three most-deserving runner-ups.

#1 Michigan v #8 Oregon

#4 Alabama v #5 Florida State

#3 Texas v #6 Georgia

#2 Washington v #7 Ohio State
