It doesn't matter who they report to.It's not about the politics per se, which is a symptom of a greater problem, it's about the incompetence of the people in leadership (which is a common trend). You don't drive away 3 different people, in 3 different positions of leadership, from vastly different backgrounds, who are all well respected because you have quality leadership above them... Like you said, who did they all report to?

Carter left for a top gig in the entire country
Alberts left for a top gig in the entire country (that throws around money like a drunken sailor)
They left for other reasons other than what some keep implying.
UNL is not a top gig in the country. it can be top 10, but it is not top 3 or even top 5
