Economy

Was just about to ask you if I missed the boat for CRKN.

I’ve been a little snake bit with this stuff since GME and just decided to stick to my boring SP funds.
I don't know if you missed the boat on CRKN, at one time it was over 12 dollars a share.  So it had some value.

It will be interesting to see what today brings to the market.

Dipped a toe in the water and got 50 shares, so just about $25.

Nice!

In my "this is for fun" account I sort of do it that way as well.  Just little grabs here and there.

IE is one I am eyeing at the moment and some puts on copper or natty gas but still not sure.

FFIE still climbing!  I grabbed more...

Basically just praying for a great finish to the day.

And...big dip.

Oh well!

CB stock is still making some slow and steady gains.
Ah I’ve missed the roller coaster thrill from the GME days. Down horrendous on CRKN. Barely up on FFIE. Hopeful that some retail investor momentum can develop over the weekend.

How do people figure when to get on these trains when the price goes from .05 to something like .15/.20 in order to really ride them up to $2 or so and get the the 10-20X returns?  Is there a subreddit group that makes some decision on what to pump up with but volume?

Basically. The sub I saw it on was called “roaringkitty” named after the guy who started the GME buying frenzy. That sub was shut down today. When I first saw it and the FFIE posts test it had about 40k subscribers. Earlier today before it shut down it had over 70k. Superstonk and Wallstreetbets are kinda cesspools now imo. I think there’s still some good info and analysis but I think it gets overrun a bit by “To the moooooon” people.

If you could ever catch one really early on, $1k could easily turn into $50-100k.

Yeah, the 3 that I bought yesterday all turned out to be duds so far.

Barnes and Noble went crazy today for some reason!

Yeah it definitely happens. There are folks on Reddit who do good, thoughtful analysis and have changed lives with it. Some of it just gets buried a bit.

I didn’t see FFIE really mentioned on any news outlets, so I’m wondering if this is a bit of a calm period before it can’t be ignored any longer. The subreddit Roaringkitty that was pushing it the most was shut down. So… it’s getting attention from somewhere.

Hmmm, I never heard of it until you mentioned it.  Who knows what is going on with it.  I bet today there was a huge unloading of shares when it got over 3 dollars.
