The return of EA Sports College Football

So happy the teaser trailer came out on my Birthday 2/15.

Have seen that Nebraska has given full support for the game.  Will be awesome to have the rosters available as well as likenesses and I am hoping that they finally include more of the tunnel walk and all the fight songs we love to hear during the games. 

 
Reserved my Copy at Gamestop on 4/18.  Talking to the guy behind the counter.  I guess you don't have to be in the know to work there.  I explained how I've been hearing Gamestop is already taking reservations.  His response, "yeah, I don't know that it's even coming out".  I explain that the unofficial release/hype was in February, and the official release date is revealed in May.  He kind of had a "well the release date days December 31st, 2024".  

I'm sure when the date is officially released, the date will change.  Reserved it on PS5, right now the going price was $60 if they come out with a better version I will probably upgrade. 

On another note, I have read speculation that scalpers are going to try to buy out the game and hike up the price.  From what I have heard, Sony and other online gaming places are going to limit this so nobody has an advantage of ordering a ton.  

May is upon us, and when they release more details, I will be really wishing for July to come.

Console video game sales are 70-80% digital, so I don't see how this could even be a thing.

Recently saw the Deep Dive into the game covering sites and sounds.  Teams Entering the field, traditional stuff...  So far, all that can be seen Nebraska wise is fans in Memorial Stadium, in a small section "throwing the bones".  My hopes are that there is going to be something HUGE Nebraska wise that they want us to see for the first time playing the game.  Touching the horseshoe, and running out onto the field to Nebraska's Fight Song. 

On another note.  Nebraska seems to be snubbed on a few categories.

Not on the top 25 Defenses

EA says the stats are subject to change as the real season happens.  Colorado is one of the tough places to play.  I wonder if they will show Colorado fans drunk and slurring insults and throwing garbage on the field and at apposing fans?
