They need to wait him out and not fire him without cause.  They can't afford the buyout, and need to lie in the bed they've made.

I live in Denver and the totally hot steam coverage they  received last year has died off to a large degree. 
but these allegations and the ensuing “toxicity” are nary reported. Interesting to say the least that there is real harm happening and we just don’t hear about it

I think you're right. They might be okay this year, 5-7 or 6-6, but once he losses the top end talent, the Big 12 might give CU a lot of losses.

While the conference will rarely have a national title contender, I do think it's a league with a lot of parity and quality. If coach Prime proves to be inept in 2025, that conference may hand him a lot of losses. 

 
I've said it before and I will say it again.  When the Huskers beat CU on that Saturday night, WE Need the fans to flock the field and go have fun !!!!!!!!  

Remember they did it to us last year in Boulder, and no bad words were spoken about it from the media.  CU and their fans celebrated victory in our face.  Those a$$h@!es !!!  But, I don't blame them.

Now, If you think "well, we don't do that, we are better than that, We are Nebraska" then I suggest your time of celebrating for fun in a rivalry game ended 20+ years ago.  Or longer.

Man, fans need to go celebrate and rush the field !!!!  No need to carry the goal post around like we just beat OU....   but still....  you could bring one post down  :)   And see Shadeur Sanders and Prime with that pissed off look and hating us

Yeah, I agree with this.  Plus who knows when they will play them again.  I understand the series is throwing a bone to Western Nebraska fans too but I see another matchup with Wyoming or Colorado State before the Buffs again with the need to lighten the schedule. Although playing in Laramie is never easy, several teams have went in the ditch there.  Texas Tech I remember fairly recently.

 
This story doesn't really mean much right now.  

This story really only becomes an issue if they totally implode like last year.

The schedule sets up for them to get a ton of pub right away.  Beat NDSU and it will be "Wow, they beat on of the best programs of the last 20 years" even though it is not a D1 school

Then on the road vs NU which is still a huge name in CFB.  Line right now is 6, pretty much a toss up game.
