My overall thoughts here are:

If you replaced Nebraska with any other team that looked like Nebraska, I would say Nebraska is going to win. But the fact is we have screwed the pooch in almost every game like this for the past 10-15 years. That is literally the only reason it's hard for me to assume we'll win. I think if it was another team and I was seeing it objectively, it would be easy to pick the not-Colorado team.
I have those same nervous hebe jebes.  I picked NU to win but in that Missouri 'show me' mode.  Show me you can win the big games that you "should' win.  Show me that you can go 7-0 over teams that we should beat.   Last week was practice.  This is when the real work begins.

someone got me on youtube when I was looking to see if someone posted the whole game against UTEP since I was out of town and my recording was just the 1st qrter and the rest of the PSU game.  I might have been a little drunk and took me longer than it should have to realize I was watching a video game.
If you're drunk tha animations look so life like! To be honest the screen shot looks like it could be from an actual broadcast.

There's a great example of this on the Peyton Manning episode of Bussin' With The Boys.  Will Compton was kind of hesitant to say Nebraska is for real and will beat Colorado.  Lewan seemed way more confident.

They talk about it for like a half hour at the start of the podcast.

I totally get, we are invested in it.  It makes it different.

When I was in college and the Skers were killing everyone, it didn't matter who they were playing that Saturday I would be like "Dude, Skers will cover the spread by 14, blowout!"

Then everything since after Bo has been sooooo lame that we are going the other way, to protect our fragile hearts!

You know the basement scene in Pulp Fiction?  That's what Lewan said we're gonna do to Colorado.

I’m curious to see how White comes after CUs Qb.  Do you spy Chedder? It seemed he liked to roll left so do they dare bring a CB on a blitz?
i won’t touch NU this week.
