Really hard to know what the target number is right now.  Still waiting for the final word on roster limits.  Assuming it's going to be 2025 (and that it goes into effect next year), seems like it will be a small class. 

I think they're pretty much done for 2025 other than a few of the big names - Terry, Jones, Merritt, Mills, Loftin.  But it will be take those guys or no one.

Any chance after this weekend and a possible surge in big name guys who will be interested if the season goes great that we would take more or push out the lower kids to make room?

I think there is some genuine interest from players like Michael Terry and Dawson. If Nebraska continues to win, there's a real chance those players would want to be part of Nebraska's revival. Joining something like that is fun and appealing to recruits. 

I think Nebraska still has a slight upward hill to climb, but I think the chances of Nebraska landing some of these players is a lot higher than what people think.

 
Is Will Compton a thing with the younger crowd?   I dont listen to his podcast etc…just wondered about his popularity…I see NE recruits tag him a lot.  Didn’t know if he (his celebrity status) gives us an edge.

Yes. Early-mid 20s especially. 

 
Have to give the staff credit.  I felt like we were kind of barely treading water a couple months ago (from a recruiting perspective).  

But getting Merritt, Marks, and Mozee to flip plus reeling in Jones and Pietrzak who seemed headed elsewhere has really turned things around.

And they might not be done.

Any idea who the other(s) might be? Besides keeping a TE in the state?
