Carriker mentioned a nice stat: Nebraska has allowed ONE first quarter TD in the past 10 games. Also, only 1 opening drive TD in the past 16 games (first woulda been the Iowa game we won in 2022).
What is especially impressive with that to me is because our offense was so bad last year, the first 7 games of those 10, the opposing offenses probably had the ball more times than they normally would, had we had a competent offense.

Is this someone throwing trash against the wall looking for interaction? Delete if so. I happen to think if a program is not in the Big Ten or SEC, it's generally a downgrade with exceptions like Vanderbilt or Northwestern.

I don’t think he’d go to FSU. There are only like 5 teams I’d see him going to and they are all doing well enough to not fire their coach.

You think FSU is a down grade from Liberty University? I would disagree. He still might prefer other jobs. But, FSU would be an upgrade from where he is now.

I was discussing the abomination that is Lil Red with the husband and this popped up and I thought it was real for like 3 seconds (before I read the labels on the hats) and I think it's gonna be nightmare fuel. (Yes, I know the kids like him... but Georgia has a dog version of this type of mascot, and it's way less creepy because IT'S A DOG NOT A CHILD).
