No special teams blocking on the punt return...go figure.
I am asking a serious question...someone explain to me why we don't go for a block on a punt every time if every time the other team's gunners still get to the punt receiver before the ball even gets there? what is the point of "setting up " the return if nobody but the other team is near the returner? I just don't get it...explain

There was, at first, then before the ball is caught you can see him running to the sidelines and then running off the field.
