A big area of opportunity in Raiola’s growth will be learning how to throw the back shoulder fade much better.   Those need zip on them and he just lifts it in there and destroys the timing of the potential catch.

It’s quite amazing how the PAT kicks are so much better and straighter and with a better flight trajectory than the FG attempts.

Every team is tougher than our guys.  

Rhule has mentioned in preseason how we had big physical guys who win those 50/50 balls. We are lacking in the getting them dept

Again, why do we blame Nebraska for all of their mistakes but when another team makes them we are just lucky and we still suck?  Maybe don’t lift a guy’s leg up in the air, then when you are not even on top of him, walk over him between your legs. We got 15 yards because they f#&%ed up. 

This is where watching the game tells stories, not stat lines.

We were a down away from punting deep in our territory, they make a bonehead play, and we finally score on a team that gives up 50 a game.

Yeah  NU struggles so much with the goal line fade.  Bad passes and pretty weak receivers who tend to not fight for the ball hard enough
