****Purdue Game Day Thread****

Grasping for positive straws here. We didn’t collapse after sucking a$$ the entire first half, and our defense kept them out of the end zone on their first 3rd quarter drive when they had a 1st down in our territory. Also, this is the first game we’ve scored more in the 2nd half than 1st. Now if we can just play a whole game we might be okay.

So just tuned in: what has been our problem today- turnovers, no blocking penalties???

We drove inside their 35 yard line like five times in the first half, but untimely penalties (both deserved and undeserved) stalled our drives. We have trouble at Long Snapper, and that led to two blocked FG attempts. We also only rushed the ball 9 times in the first half.

About 17 times in the 1st half we drove down to the Purdue 25-35, then did an incomplete or 1 yard run, an 8 yard gain, then a false start on 3rd and 1. Then missed a FG or got one blocked. I think we have 2 missed FG and 2 blocked but I could be wrong since I’m trying not to remember.

That stat is just infuriating.

If Frost was coaching, we'd be losing
