Fire Foley. It’s past time.

Obviously special teams was bad.

And the sentiment would be even harsher had we lost.

But if our offense had any pulse in the second half we win the game 28ish - 0. I'm pretty disappointed with how we lagged on offense in the second half.
Outside of Purdue last week, the 2nd half O has been border line anemic.  Unsure by design ie protect the lead or by an inability to adjust to the other team.  It needs to get fixed for sure.  Non-Negotiable if we want to go bowling.  I think teams see this and think go into the half no more than 1 score down, we will wi in the 2nd half.  The old "just let Nebraska do what they do".  Akin to coaches in the past saying just wait for Nebraska to make mistakes.

Agree with a lot of this.  I do hope we at least turn the mental corner of being able to close out one-score games.

Just make Brown your interim ST coach to make it look like you care more about winning than not hurting your guy’s feelings.

Not having a ST coach can’t be worse than having Foley.

I honestly don’t understand how it’s so difficult to have competent special teams and have players understand the very basics of the game they have played so nice they were in grade school.

New level of bad yesterday (I know, tough to imagine).  How many times did we have one guy somewhat close to the punt returner and then apparently no one else within 20 yards?  We can't even get guys to run down the field, let alone make a tackle.
