The Democrat Utopia

Intelligent people having an interesting conversation with a relevant perspective.

Not seeing the outrage on this.
The same people that are outraged at this are the same folks that said Jan 6th was patriots being treated unfairly, and Hitler was at least a good leader...

I would be careful about putting any kind of "positive" connotation on the violence Oct 7th.  It was a straight up evil event that should only seen that way no matter the hypothetical discussion.  George Washington did not kidnap and murder British babies.

You gotta remember that there are SOME people that are really close to being pro-hammy.  Not here, of course, not on this site, just out there, in the world.

At most I'm seeing people trying to get into the heads of the disaffected and powerless folk who feel justified using violence against their perceived (and real) oppressors. Why wouldn't you go there? It's a pretty huge piece of the puzzle.

It's the same with every revolutionary force and drug cartel. And it's only a matter of degrees from the Jan 6th patriots who might have envisioned kidnapping/hanging Mike Pence while believing it to be the opposite of evil.

George Washington may not have killed British babies, but Sam Adams was willing to orchestrate American deaths in order to foment a larger war. And as long as we're being literal, someone is willfully killing babies in Gaza as we speak, although I guess we're not supposed to talk about it.

Yeah, we've been through this.

There are a lot MORE people who think we can abhor terrorism and criticize Netanyahu's retaliation at the same time. Maybe even question the end game.

What's going on in Gaza is genuinely horrific and it's actually a little bizarre that taking note of that fact gets you a laughy emoji.

One of the people sitting around that table grew up in apartheid South Africa. I'd say his perspective is worth a listen.

I agree, I didn’t “laugh”.  I just think anyone on a talk show trying to “sympathize” with the actors of Oct 7 deserve the pushback.  That is all.  Obviously they had reasons to be this desperate, but in no way did their desperation justify what they did.

Im talking about Oct 7 exclusively.  I agree that the all out destruction of Palestine out of spite can be viewed as just as evil.

Interesting, I did not say anyone on this site.  Hmmm

You've also claimed you weren't a teacher.
Yeah, I also claim to be over 6 feet tall.

But right now you are sounding a bit Pro-Hammy.  Maybe, can you denounce them and call them horrible f#&%ing people that should all be executed for the things they have done...and can you do that WITHOUT trying to explain it away?

Just like you would do with the Nazi dorks.  I hope.  And Stalins commies, I hope.

I'm pretty good with the words I've chosen for the reasons given. Anything specific you disagree with?

Hmmmmm.   Yep, sounds about right for BHO’s Administration
I am always shocked how people that seem normal (like me) are actually like super supportive on super insane causes/groups.

They always have really insane reasons.  Like the people against gambling.  They have 3 reasons

1.  poor people will gamble their SS check

2.  It will lead to crime and hookers (I wish)

3.  The mob...THE MOB. (Like, this is the 1940's and the Mob is coming here to run things)
