Those No Longer With Us

I get it, he had 2-3 bad games against Wisconsin

Sure we got beat 48-17, 70-31, and 59-24 against Wisconsin, but let's not forget about these other gems in in back half of Bo's tenure

losing by 21 vs an 8-5 Iowa team in Lincoln

losing by 20 vs UCLA in Lincoln while being outscored 31-0 in the 2nd half

losing by 25 at Ohio St (which doesn't terrible bad until you see that OSU was a 4.5 point favorite)

losing by 6 at UCLA (which doesn't sound bad until you see that we gave up 650 yards, the 2nd most ever given up by a Nebraska defense)

losing by 28 at Michigan (Michigan was a 2.5 point favorite)

Is there anyone in Nebraska Bo Pelini didn't meet? I met him half a dozen times. Everyone's description of him is pretty much the same - personable guy in person, a bit rough around the edges, but overall a good dude. I know a woman whose kids went to school with his kids and knew Bo better than most, and she really liked him. More anecdotes, I know, but they're mostly all the same.

I think everyone but Dirk Chatelain wanted Bo to succeed at Nebraska. I was against firing him. I think it was the right decision, in retrospect, regardless of the other decisions made afterwards.

Dirk had SUCH a hard on for Bo!

Also, can anyone name the 80's beach/boob movie that used the word "hard on" a lot...

So your thinking has finally come around. Congratulations!
