Absolutely! Big moments like this are made for 5*’s. It’s step by step. I’m pretty proud actually.Guys we've gotta remember Raiola is a true freshman. He's not gonna make every single throw and will make freshman mistakes. That said, he still played a heckuva game. Had some tough calls go against him as well.
I’m with you until ‘heckuva game’. Not gonna crucify him, but not sure how 152 yds and a pick fits the definition.Guys we've gotta remember Raiola is a true freshman. He had some nice runs, but wasn't very good in the passing game. I'd like to see him run more often like this game.I’m with you until ‘heckuva game’. Not gonna crucify him, but not sure how 152 yds and a pick fits the definition.
i worry about him getting hurt. having HH as the next man up fills me with dread. He had some nice runs, but wasn't very good in the passing game. I'd like to see him run more often like this game.
Come on, get rid of the cool aid colored glasses. Raiola missed several wide open receivers it was not even funny. Missed on several throws. No matter your age and pedigree, you have to make those throws. We do have a suspect line and WR's. This team has major flaws yet, and the QB position is still one of them. Dual threat QB today and I think we win this game, and win by two scores. This style of football is to easy to defend. Its 10 vs 11 with a QB who really can't run the ball. If a defense has to prepare for a running QB, it makes things so much more complicated. But Dylan missed an opportunity today that a lot of gamers wouldn't have. Sometimes despite everything else you lead your team to a win. Don't see that mentality from this QB and wonder if its there since he couldn't stay at one HS team more than one season. Don't know if the ownership is there.
What I saw was the zebras take the game away from the players on the field. Bad calls both ways!!!!! hats off to the team. What can be done by the university about the officiating???????
The NFL doesn't employ full time refs either. It's mind boggling, but apparently they're doing it on purpose. The refs have been truly awful. Just saw a big blown call in the Illinois/Oregon game where there was a clear fumble and immediate recovery by Oregon, but Illinois kept the ball.
It's a conference-wide issue. They need to hire full-time, permanent refs. The Big Ten & SEC both generate enough revenue to make this happen. These guys are part-timers and they're failing the sport. It's too bad.
