The 2024 Election —What did we learn?

He supported Sanders and could have been a valuable ally for the Democrats.
But as the Democrats rejected the working class, they also made an opponent of Joe Rogan.
But the Democrats learned nothing, so they will double down on stupid.

Forgive me if I point out you're not exactly an impartial voice here.

Biden was the most pro-labor President in my lifetime. It amounted to jack s#!t and folks like you still drum up terrible arguments like this.

Labor ain't gonna love a couple billionaire scabs like Trump and Elon running the show but it's what they got. Hopefully they make out OK.

Obviously Rogan is an important voice listened to by millions of people. But frankly simply accepting any assertion made on your podcast without one iota of pushback when what is being said is clearly bats#!t conspiracy theories is extremely toxic for his listener's ability to decipher reality from bulls#!t. And they wind up stupider for it because Joe doesn't care.

Joe Rogan the working class? Sanders is left of the Democrats so it totally makes sense to go even further right than the Dems. Joe is just very easily tricked by propaganda as long as it's not "mainstream" and got adopted by the alt right grifters he had on his show. He proves over and over again that he doesn't have great media literacy. Even his I guess you say stronger suits like nutrition and weight training he is frequently very sure of things that are dubious at best.

Okay, so the word 'many' just means some amount between 1-100%? I guess you'd also affirm then that there are 'many' conservatives who are cruel, racist, imbecilic bigots.
I’m sure there are many, just as there are many Liberals that fit the description too.

Yes...just like their are cruel racist idiot liberals.

Luckily most people are in the middle and normal.
Yep

Are you just admitting that you were delusional in previously believing that higher education was a den of runaway wokeness?
Sure. I will have to admit not all of it, and that is encouraging. Like I said....I was surprised. I am wondering now if more people in education are just afraid to speak up.

I wonder if kids know who is to blame for all that remote learning they suffered through. Maybe it's payback.

So, you do sort of see it in the classroom at the HS level.  I don't know if it is that they are "afraid" to speak up or if they just don't want to deal with the hassle of getting hassled.

The conservative teachers and students in my building are absolutely the proudest and loudest.  The world is not nearly as sensitive and retrained as you seem to think.
