Fire Foley. It’s past time.

I'm pretty sure we didn't block a single gunner last night. In a game where you're playing field position and not going for blocks that is the dumbest f#&%ing thing you could do. It basically cost us the game on the "muff", but bigger than that, zero return yardage on how many punts???

Just the gunners? I remember watching one punt and they let 6 guys run by them. And they weren't guys up on the line.

Teams that constantly screw up and can't get out of their own way complain about the refs. It's a straw to grasp at.  Handle your business like catching punts, catching passes, not fumbling 5 times and the refs don't matter. It's whining is all it is. All teams are affected by the refs.

 
Something to ponder in this discussion.  Foley is in the top 10 of Special Team Coaches salaries.  Think about that.  The results have obviously matched that.

I would already have the next guy lined up and ready.  A team like us trying to get that extra win or two can’t just forego special teams. It should be a seriously high focus to equalize the game for us.  Instead we continually play from a hole and special teams lost the game last night.

Watching Vandy run a kick back for a TD; another reason we need a ST coaching change, it's a crime that we have a guy like Barney and we never had a TD on returns.

 
We are #110 in average punt return yards this year.  All the way up to #97 in total punt return yards.

We are #98 in average kickoff return yards.
