The corporate thing confuses me, because Kentucky's field is named Kroger field and it's indeed named after the grocery chain.

I don't know that corporate is necessarily an issue.  But the NIL collective advertising was a no-no for Okie St.

The most dominant team of the past two decades and playoff hopeful Alabama for Dawson Merritt.

Top 20 Missouri for Jeremiah Jones.

Home-state Texas that was the #1 team in the country for much of the year for Malcolm Simpson.

Credit the coaches recruiting, sure.  But you don't do all of that without significant NIL investments.

I don't think anyone really wants to know what these athletes will be spending their NIL money on. 

But it's probably something you don't think you can afford yourself.

While I love sports, I agree with this.   Having millionaire boosters donate is one thing, but asking average people to chip into this is dumb.   A salary cap along with athlete contracts is a good idea here.  The constant more more more is unsustainable and tiresome.

It honestly reminds me of why I stopped going to church. I had hated sitting through tithing service hearing about how we needed a new big screen or some other pointless crap.  I’d rather just give my money straight to a soup kitchen than donate to superficial BS.
