NBA 2024-25

They did nothing.  GM is a moron that has wasted all his 2nd round picks to dump bad contracts that he negotiated....while being unable to dump REALLY bad contracts that he also negotiated.  Nuggets were recently ranked 30 out of 30 teams in terms of tradable assets.  He's been a disaster since the title year, failing to improve anything around the margins.  In a way I'm happy he didn't do anything since he likely would've gotten fleeced into giving up valuable players.  Hopefully the franchise moves on from him after this year.
Agreed, Booth has to go. I'm not sure what they could have done other than moving Zeke, but I don't know that there was much interest in that. I am glad they didn't move MPJ, dude has been playing great this season, but especially the last few games. If they can get healthy, they can compete in the playoffs and make a run, but they need Russ, AG, and Jamal back at as close to 100% as possible.

He playin tonight.  Laker Debut.  730PDT.

I have been trending away from the NBA this year.  Haven't watch more than 3 games all season, instead of the every night.  So I totally get it.  No worries.

However, this is kind of like if Jordan or Magic Johnson or Bird was traded at night over the weekend, and is playing his first game with new team.  Will probably be trending tonight and tomorrow for hot takes.

And then the four-time champion with the Golden State Warriors was asked a simple question: Does he think the NBA game is boring?

"Absolutely," he said.

...

But the NBA keeps hearing the question about the on-court product. And Green is among those that think issues exist. He cited an interview he recently saw where the late Kobe Bryant, who died in 2020, called the game "accidental basketball."

"It's all penetrate and pitch," Bryant said in that interview. "You may make the shot, you may not."

Said Green: "He couldn't have been more right."

Green talked about a recent Golden State game against LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers, and how it was "refreshing" to go against a thinker like James -- who is notorious for finding weaknesses and exploiting them.

"Every possession is some type of chess move," Green said. "You don't get that today in the NBA, often. ... You don't just get that on a regular basis. It's just who can run faster, who can hit more 3s, it's no substance. I think it's very boring."
