I think the point is that the lying and fake stuff is NOT new, it is just that for years and years, we just sort of went with the flow.  Which is totally normal and totally okay, it is what we do.  Hell, we still do it.  

I saw this thing with Alice Cooper and how he tossed a chicken off stage, thinking it could fly, but chickens don't fly and long story short, the chicken ended up torn to pieces.

A few days later the news reported that Alice ripped apart and ate a live chicken on stage.  It made him more popular than ever.  But it wasn't true and he even says it is not true.

Yep this sort of stuff is the scourge of the information age. Really terrible no matter who is doing it. Twisting peoples reality with technology that makes fact and fiction completely indistinguishable is just wrong.

Some of us actually appreciated social media's efforts to curb it.  But we were seen as attacking the first amendment.  So, "yay for freedom", I guess...

Wait until the "evidence" comes out from the Epstein files after the White House handed them over to such credible sources as Libs of TikTok, DC Draino and Cernovich.  I'm sure they're fabricating some evidence right now on their chosen targets (while ignoring any allies) and getting ready to turn that over to the world which will be readily lapped up by the challenged.

At least you are now admitting you didn’t care about Russian actions and American response until it was Republicans in charge. 
 

I mean who cared about Russian sanctions in 2021. That was soooo long ago.  Or Crimea, or thinking handing out blankets was good enough, or living in the 80’s when speaking of Russia, or just wait till after the election and then I’ll have leverage,  etc….thats all just too long ago to be considered #putinspuppet.  Instead we will just bring up “checks notes” Hitlers Germany  :clap
