It still amazes me that so many think it is a “down the middle” news agency.  LOL.

Man you people HATE free speech. Who gives a f#&% what someone tweeted? She can tweet whatever the hell she wants and Fox News can say whatever they want also because we live in America. I disagree woth everything Fox says and does, but you dont see us talking about defunding them.

LOL.  Get rid of the federal funding and they can do whatever the heck they want.   This isn’t hard to understand.   At least it shouldn’t be hard🙄

If you are okay with NPR pushing one side or the other...you also have to be okay with public school teachers doing that.  

I am guessing that if your kids came home today and said "My teacher said Trump is amazing and the best President ever" that there would be some pissed off parents.  

Today I did have to talk about commies...we ended up talking about Rocky 4 and it is sad how few students are familiar with it!!

Someones personal tweets has nothing to do with the company, if NPR has a problem with their employees, they can fire them. The govt shouldnt be involved at all. If you want to get rid of federal funding for media companies, do it the right way and pass it through the budget. Whats the purpose of using tax dollars to hold hearings on someones personal opinions?

Freedom of press means they can write about whatever they want and the govt shouldnt be involved. Idk if ive ever read a thing from NPR. Maybe I have but its not often. But keep govt the hell out of private companies. If they dont want to fund them anymore, then pass a budget. Follow the law and stop overstepping. Not hard stuff. Id say the same if democrats were holding stupid hearings like this to go over tweets also.
