2025 CBC Tourney - Nebrasketball vs Georgetown

i am to lazy to look it up.   but do we know who we play next or when?   or do we have to wait for another game tonight to figure that out?

We play Boise State on Saturday at 12:30 in the semifinals.

Cincinnati/UCF and Villanova/USC tonight are the other side of the bracket and will determine the other semifinal game played Saturday at 3:00ish.

Are you watching the same player??  I am not sure how you can't be excited for the performance this kid has put on over the last two games.  He is flat busting his a$$ to make the most of his first true playing time during meaningful minutes.  If we had that kind of effort from the rest of the team during the final stretch of the season, we would have been a tournament team.  I for one hope he gets the start again on Saturday.      

 
Awesome game.  I know Georgetown was missing a few starters, but the Huskers took advantage of it and played a really good game.

Man, seeing Hoiberg and Jacobsen pass the ball around (without much dribbling) until a great shooter like Brice had space to shoot, or going inside to Berke was pretty cool and refreshing.  The offense again played smoother.  Gary responded pretty well after having a stinker the game before.  Was good to see.

Don't forget the championship game.  Semi on Saturday and Championship game is Sunday evening.  That's kinda strange or unique that it's a "back-to-back" weekend.  Gonna need some depth and fresh legs.

Nice that Nebraska is on the Monday/Wednesday side of the bracket so they get an extra day before the Saturday semifinals.

Both semifinals are being played before the final 4 and then they play Sunday to avoid the championship on Monday night.

The team has come out with a very notable confidence and tenacity offensively in the crown tournament that has been refreshing and exciting to see. I know the fanbase is disappointed in the season, and I'm sure the players are even more than us, but it's clear that this absolutely matters to them.
