The Democrat Utopia

I tend to agree with Mary on this.   We certainly wish him a full recovery and he deserves a longer retirement with his family.

It’s unlikely that Prostate cancer goes from undetected to Phase 4 metastatic in the bone within 6 months to a year.  It’s more likely he had prostate cancer, was being treated and it wasn’t reported to the American people.   I certainly could be wrong and I hope he recovers.  However, it would be another stain if it comes out his cancer was diagnosed years earlier and never reported publicly.

Having a weekend a Bernie’s president when people voted someone specific into office to make decisions is kinda a big deal.  Otherwise why even elect an exact person.  The electorate basically ended up electing Democrats close to Joe Biden for 2020 election and not Joe Biden himself as President.

You bring up an interesting point. Primary Democrats thought they were voting for spunky State of the Union Joe Biden from March, but panicked when they saw the frail and confused debate Joe Biden from June, when the primaries were over. The electorate was divided-- some Joe loyalists were actually okay with a Weekend at Bernies strategy if it got them through November, some wanted an open mini-primary. But given the late date when Joe was forced aside on July 21, they had Kamala Harris thrust upon them. The electorate responded with enthusiasm, donations shot through the roof, and polling went back to a dead heat. All the electorate wanted was the best chance to beat Trump.

Republicans on the other hand had 8 years watching elderly Donald Trump's malignant narcissism, baffled meanderings, and vocabulary meltdowns. Nobody hid anything. The guy making angry ALL CAP non-sequitur attacks on Chrissy Teigan at 3 in the morning was their President. No questions asked.
