The Democrat Utopia

Yeah but wouldn’t you like to see them pay some minimum level of tax? You’re overly concerned that they pay nothing so how do we fix that and stop you from b!^@hing about it?
I’m not b!^@hing about them not paying any federal tax money.   I’m correctly pointing out to the people incessantly whining, that those people don’t get federal income tax relief when a tax cut bill happens………..because they don’t pay federal income tax after the deductions.

You seem to be okay with taking away their Snap benefits and Medicaid benefits but that’s not really tax revenue
I’m seem to be okay with work requirements for able bodied Medicaid and snap benefits.

And you won’t consider their increased cost of living as funding tax cuts for the rich so how much more blood do you have to get out of the turnips until you begin to act like they’re actual citizens just as worthy as you?
Wait what?????? There are actual citizens as worthy as me in this world???  Are you kidding me.   Who would have thought 🙄

I’m also okay with work requirements for able bodied to receive Snap and Medicaid benefits. But I find it hard to believe the only cuts in those areas will be for the able bodied who refuse to work. I also don’t have any problem assuring non-citizens don’t get any government benefits.

I just wonder why the CBO projects that the costs for the 1st decile will increase $1600 per year if those are the only two groups who will be excluded from benefits. Seems odd and therefore questionable.

What did No Kings Day prove?

I don't know. In a world of optics it demonstrated that millions of people were willing to go out of their houses and express their opposition to the President and his policies, timed against Trump's competing optics of an autocrat presiding over a military parade.

One drew exponentially more people across states and localities both red and blue.

If you're frustrated by the normalization of jaw-dropping incompetence, corruption, and cruelty it is kinda nice to see you're not alone. You may actually be in a growing majority. Those optics and numbers may help our lawmakers grow a spine, or inspire others to run against them.

I know one of our most prolific posters considers all protestors lame, but sometimes it does feel good to care about something.
