drafted in the 5th by the NO Saints... he f'd up big time when he went to that party and wasn't allowed to come to Pro Day, that apparently really scared teams that we would do that so he went from a projected 2nd rounder to 5th!

No kidding. Just made this guys list of Five biggest gambles:

3. Carl Nicks, tackle, New Orleans -- He was the best run blocker in this year's draft, but there were so many red flags regarding character that clubs everywhere bumped him from their boards. I'm not sure what it says about a player when his school bans him from its Pro Day, but maybe Nicks can explain. Anyway, if he can stay out of trouble, he's a find.

It was a nice read, but honestly, if you have spend a 5th rounder on the best run blocker in the draft, that's really not much of a gamble, at all.
