You HAVE to be kidding me. This is by far the most outstanding US Open in over 30 years. Tiger is unbelievable.

I have to most definately agree with you eliot. You have to think though that if anyone is capable of tying it on the last hole it's him. I was definately nervous for him when he hit it in the sand on his drive and then hit it in the rough on his second shot. Did you see him throw his club into the side of the sand trap!? I've never seen him do that and I have a feeling the PGA might have a talk with him about that. I love the fact that they are going to have an 18 hole playoff instead of a sudden death playoff. You have to like his record in a playoff................................UNDEFEATED! I think he ultimately pulls it out because the pressure may get to Rocco. I like Rocco's positive attitude though. :clap

actually Tiger is 14-1 all time in playoffs.... but he IS undefeated in majors' playoffs
Who beat him in a playoff? I've been watching him for years and I don't recall................

Billy Mayfair- Nissan Open - '98 or '99 i believe
Thanks for the info.......... :thumbs

I hope people realize how special that U.S. Open was and we may never see anything like that again in our lifetime. Great win Tiger and congratulations to Rocco for pushing the world's #1 golfer to the edge.

It was also huge for Rocco after a dismal season last year with back ailments. He made a huge jump in the FedEx Cup rankings for this year.
