2 things I would like to work on

Nothing I can see. Basically, anything from the top banner down through the silver bar is all one file that shows up on each and every page. There isn't a separate page I can edit for just the main page - or, at least, not one that would allow me to place it at the top. I could possibly do it below the silver bar (the one with the Members, Search, etc. links), but it would look pretty bad, I would think.

Just a thought . The Huskerboard banner and Huskernation banner seem to clutter the top of the page. Possibly break them up and put the Huskernation one over the contest links.

Might even it out a bit and could associate Huskernation with whatever contest that we are having at the time. Could get Huskernation a bit more traffic with people looking at what they would order if they won and find something they like to purchase.

Like I said just some thoughts.

Yeah - that's a much better look, IMHO. What's everyone else think?
 
How about taking the countdown clock and the previous games score and stuff out, putting it back to the bottom, and leaving the advertisements on top?

Also is there anyway to make the huskerboard banner larger and stretch the entire length of the screen. ?

The first one we can do - I'll get to work on it.

The second one - no. The banner is a picture, so it has fixed dimensions. Since everyone has different sized computer screens and different resolutions, there's no way to create a picture that will shrink and expand to fit each user's particular setup. Just as an example, I have a 27" wide aspect monitor running at 1680 x 1050 pixels. Probably the most common size is a resolution of 1024 x 780 on, say, a 19" to 22" screen. If we stretch it to match my setup, it would require that folks scroll left to right in most cases.

 
I could help with redesigning the ads like suggested. I wish I still had my "acquired" version of Adobe DreamWeaver. Then I could help with code.
